In this unexpected pairing, Lively and Baldoni bring their characters, Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid, to life. Lily, a florist with a penchant for flowers and romance, is portrayed by Blake Lively, who traded her glamorous wardrobe for a bulky camouflage suit. On the other side of the romantic equation, Baldoni takes on the role of Ryle, a neurosurgeon, rocking a black tee under a rainbow-patterned onesie.
The attire choices might raise eyebrows, but they’re all part of a scene from the book.
